This is the exact point, we don't know what the matchups are going to be beyond fairy having some sort of advantage over dragon and a disadvantage to poison, it's pointless to speculate on whether or not any other types are going to get nerf batted or will be 'OP' or not in gen VI at this point

Water is OP because it has only 2 weaknesses, almost every water type has great bulk and its the most common type. If we made water weak to poison and ice (or just made it NFE against ice) it'd be fixed

Water could be considered OP because not only is it a great defensive typing, but its also an amazing offensive typing as well. Add in the fact that Water has the most pokemon (which means more variety), and you see why Water is so strong. And this is before you factor in Rain and their new STAB move Scald.

The only thing they said was that Sylveon wasn't fighting type. Nothing was said about it being weak to fighting type. If you put a non-fighter using fighting weapons against a fighter using fighting weapons obviously the real fighter is going to win. That's what they were trying to show.

i think with bold and 252 in defense, it gets something like 119, then double that to 238. Blissey maxes out at like 129.

Then you also take into account that it's special defense even with no evs will still be just short of 500. Eviolite chansey is a monster, blissey is only still used because lefties, basically.

welp I counted and I guess if you count subtypes Psychic has nine mons in OU too, but psychic fucking sucks dick offensively, a bunch of those Psychic pokemon are used for gimmicks like Jirachi's paraflinch and Espeon's magic bounce, and latios and latias are only there because of dragon typing.
