I'm who created the other polls and I'm a Chespinfag.

In the others 2 chespin won.

And in this one it keeps winning.

But in the first one, anyone could vote as many times as he or she want. And in the second one, there was a limit of 100 votes, and almost 40 votes weren't counted because of that.

It's cute. Fennekin has that awful neck in the official artwork which puts off a lot of people, and Froakie isn't very cute in particular. Not that it's bad or anything.

It's also the only starter who the species it's based off of isn't a repeat for the type.

Pretty much this. Fennekin is a bit awkwardly proportioned (still don't dislike it) and Froakie is cool but not necessarily cute. Chespin looks like an adventurous little guy: he's fairly cute and also looks like he could be rough-and-tumble enough to hold his own. And the no-repeat inspiration probably draws in a few more fans. The chestnut motif with a porcupine/hedgehog is actually a pretty creative idea, looking forward to seeing how he evolves into it. Learning Wood Hammer and being based on a kind of tree means we could see a pretty rugged, burly final evolution.

Also, porcupines are unusual but endearing little beasts. So are hedgehogs I guess, but Chespin looks much more like a rodent.
