My would-be post got cut, so let me just say that I really enjoyed Diamond and White, and was here for Wottergate.
Gen 5 marked the start of a new chapter in my Pokemon journey - competitive battling. It was around this time that I made a friend interested in competitive battling. We were both young and uneducated, but we learned. EVs, IVs, and strategies. It was a whole new level of fun, and we'd spend hours on Pokemon Online, trying out new strategies and gimmicks against each other.
When the anime trailer for B2/W2 came out, I was hyped again. I'd watch it over and over, wondering what great fun I would have when B2/W2 were finally released. I got W2, and it was the same old stories - I spent hours upon hours of my time travelling in a strange and yet beautiful land. And it was time well spent.
Now, I'm hyped for X and Y. I've already planned to get X, and to get a Chespin, Clauncher and Honedge.
I have to say, that it was Pokemon that got me into a lot of things. The manga got me into drawing, and consuming other forms of Jap entertainment. The music got me into music composition, and made me seek out other great tracks. It's what's led me to love music, and be able to appreciate a wide range of genres. The games themselves led me to make some friends that I truly treasure, and taught me the wonder of a quality videogame.
Where Pokemon will lead me, I know not. But I do know, that wherever it, I'm not going to regret whatever path I take.
Inb4 Pokemon leads me to taking drugs, raping and killing people.
