Jolly natured rampardos with +1 speed would have 354 speed, which is 1 point higher than timid thundurus, or higher than any pokémon with a base speed below 112, so actually, one turn of protect and rampardos would become a huge threat unless you've got a fast choice scarf user or a pokemon with aqua jet/mach punch/vacuum wave

What the fuck are you talking about? Regenerator would be amazing on Staraptor. It lets you come in on Stealth Rock as many times as you want and mitigates damage from recoil from Brave Bird and Life Orb (if you're not running a choice set).

Chlorophyll Roserade would be incredible because it's stronger than Venusaur and gets weatherball. If it got Chlorophyll it would be a better Venusaur. With the only disadvantage being its lesser bulk. It would be able to break down a lot of things Venusaur can't though. The bulk difference would be mostly irelevant with the proper EVs.

Regenerator Staraptor would be a poor man's Tornadus-T

Levitate Magnezone would actually be pretty cool but no Pokemon gets Levitate and another ability besides Bronzong with Heatproof.

Whatever choice you make determines what walls you, and you can't cover all of its counters

You also run into the problem of butterfree having terrible stats with the defenses of a wet paper bag and offense so weak that even after a boost it can be outsped and OHKO'd, but that's not a problem of movepool

Have you ever made a sturdy shedinja? It gets OHKO'd by any attack, so sturdy activates on any direct hit, but it still gets killed by any kind of indirect damage(poison, sneaky stones, weather, etc.)

Magic guard and sturdy on shedinja makes it effectively invincible

It seems like this would allow for a good 1/3 or 1/2 crit rate, another dual-ability mon that would be relegated to Ubers.

Actually, given how quite a lot stuff gets quite OP if they got both abilities, would they all just get put in OU since so many will be broken that it ends up quite balanced?
Well I say all, I'm sure Force/Rush Excadrill would still fuck right off to Uber.
