Why do people say shit like Blastoise can't learn shell smash because turtles die without their shells as if oysters can live without theirs?

I've run Sciz against SM Cloyster and it didn't die. CB BP 2KOs most SM Cloys and it works just fine. Prankster on Whim lets it go first if you use a status move.

When a late game sweeper fucks you whole, you know you suck. Cloyster is an awful lead and only shit players use it. That's why you hardly ever see anyone with a rating above 1500 using it.

Three lines and that many mistakes already...
First, the most obvious move would be Vacuum Wave. Also, if you're seriously running Flash Cannon in a Lucario set, you're seriously doing something wrong. With a Choice Scarf, a +2 Cloyster outspeeds Lucario and OHKOs with Surf.
And anyone who keeps their Cloyster against a Lucario is doing it wrong, but Lucario is not a decent counter at all cause it can't really switch in without taking a considerable damage into any of Cloyster's attacks but Rock Blast.

So good luck with that.
