Lugia and Ho-Oh were cool.
Then they had to make EBIC LEGENDERY TRIOS that all followed the same motif and ended up looking too similar to really care.
I'm glad Xerneas and Yveltal are so different from each other, it makes them stand out from the other legendaries.

I want it to go back to gen 1 or 2 level, one trio, two main legendaries and maybe one event is enough.

Seriously? Sure, Ho-Oh has some cool backstory with the burned tower, etc but Lugia? that's literally just "hurr it stays in a cave since its too powerful"

Since we don't know the backstory, it is a reasonable assumption to make. "Death Wing," "Dark Aura," and "Destruction Pokémon" all resemble the classic edgy traits of a depressed, Angsty teenager who constantly screams "YOU CANT UNDERSTAND MY PAAAAAAIIIINNNNN."

It's the same thing that made Giritina IMO the only real "edgy" pokemon.
