Game Freak clearly don't put much stock in their own patterns, so why should we? Why should we craft a terribly specific definition for what constitutes a "pseudo" when Game Freak do something different with the concept every generation? Is it impossible for you to imagine Game Freak making the Gen 6 pseudo a two-stage Pokemon? Or single-typed? Or with a BST of 610?
When you say something is a "requirement", it's like you're saying that Game Freak won't just make whatever the hell they want and will instead stick to an arbitrary set of "rules" that fandom has created by observing patterns in previous generations. It's just not reflective of reality at all.
