Hi. I played Pokemon from Gen 1 to 3 on handhelds when I was younger. I never realized how patient you had to be to play these games until very recently. As of lately, I've been playing Pokemon after a long stint of not playing it. I have been using emulators and I have to say, I'm addicted to the fast forward button. I can grind, walk long distances, and not sit through boring dialogue Ive read several times.

I have bought a 3ds and will be getting either X or Y later when it comes out. How can I readjust to the slowness of the game?
