Many of the Pokemon related to others from previous games were either prevos or unappealing evolutions, most of which still weren't very good (with some exceptions).
Very tedious region
Story was idiotic and took itself way too seriously
Introduced Stealth Rock
Had the worst legendaries. Phione is a completely unecessary Pokemon in every sense of the word
I liked the Underground and appreciate the Physical/Special split. Many of the side characters unrelated to Galactic were pretty good, Gym Leader characterization was nice and the trend continued into Gen V which also improved those games. Barry was an okay Rival too.
Basically all of the important things were mediocre at best and all of the side things were great.
