It's an international, simultaneous release, we don't have time to get used to japanese names, or to make up our own english names, since they're revealed simultaneously.

Giving them nicknames is a shit idea and a forced le funny veepee may mays.

This is incorrect, both from the spelling and the way the way they pronounced it at the roundtable. Obviously something might roll off the tongue better if you pronounce it wrong.

regardless serebii doesnt have stat listings for mewtwo in gen 1 and 2 so i have no idea
