I don't mean to incite the wrath of the Yugioh-ers here, but since the designs have never really been fantastic - it's a white dragon with blue eyes, big deal - it's clearly all about playing the game and how it works, right? With Pokemon you've got the metagame, but also the actual games and the designs, there's a bunch going on.
When shit like that happens, doesn't everything just fall to shit? If all Fairy types got a move that wiped out every Pokemon on your opponent's team, you'd say the game was fucked. Sounds like that's the kind of place the Yugioh game's in right now though.
