>>13074538Let's refine the idea a bit more: Wild Pokemon of the same species vary slightly in size depending on the sum total of their IVs. So a Pokemon with multiple 31s will be noticeably larger than a Pokemon with multiple 0s.
Because we're using 3D models now it would be quite simple to scale them, and would also give a nice visual indication of a Pokemon's relative power. Imagine encountering, say, a Snorlax that was so big it overhangs the edges of its "platform" on the battle screen. It'd show up and you wouldn't just think "oh look, a Snorlax", you'd think "holy shit, look at the size of that Snorlax! I gotta catch that one!" which I think would add a lot to the experience.
Likewise it might be fun to catch the tiniest Caterpie.
