I've wanted a falcon pokemon since 1998, and this guy is pretty exceptional. The whole flaming arrow theme with his bow-like shape in flight and fletching tailfeathers is really well done. Fletchling was adorable and relentless to begin with, but he evolved even better than I'd hoped. Lookin forward to using him in battle.
As for stats? I think someone calculated Attack around 100-110, which is workable. He'll probably have low defenses, maybe ok HP, hopefully low Special Attack so the stats can go elsewhere. Speed will probably be in the 115-130 range. Brave Bird is confirmed, Flare Blitz is likely, and the official site info about "devastating kicks" implies moves like Blaze Kick, Jump Kick, or even Close Combat are possibilities. Hopefully some additional nice coverage.
With decent stats and a good ability he could actually be more on the level of Staraptor than the level of Unfezant, Pidgeot, or even Swellow. I could see Reckless working thematically and being quite useful. Maybe Moxie or a new ability, as long as he has a choice over something like Big Pecks or Keen Eye.
