Soulsilver is my favorite of the franchise so far (black2 being the second)

It's Crystal with a few more legendaries and a frontier in place of the tower.

If you liked GSC, you'll like HGSS music isn't as good though, and GB sounds isn't genuine 8-bit.

Only downside is that Game Corner got removed in US/EU because of gambling laws, so you get a minigame instead. The real problem is that you can't buy coins anymore, so you'll have to actually earn them if you want those fucking TMs.

It sounds like shit, it sounds much cleaner, because the chiptunes cannot be emulated in the NDS. Also, tempo and chords changes.

Just stick with the originals in music and battle sprites.

Great, so GSC is definitely better, if this was 13 years ago.

If we're concerned with what the better game is NOW, whether they were ahead of their time in 2000 doesn't matter in 2013.

(HG and SS are also already "old" if you think, but they are amazing)
And most people only have access to gameboy games in emulator, so there's no difference from the sound of an emulator music and the HG SS music.

They didn't change it. BW was created alongside HGSS. B2W2 was built on BW's engine. Technically, nothing was changed. It just was made by a different team.

I'm not sure why they had the retard team do BW.

They didn't have to include that feature in HGSS at all. It was a cool idea, and whining about how it wasn't done exactly perfect (in a way that most people will never notice) is pretty sad.

I still use it. It's an accurate pedometer and if you use it a lot you can get pokemon you wouldn't normally get early enough (magby/elekid/doduo etc)

Kanto is still shitty. Other than that it's pretty good. I thought some music tracks didn't sound right in comparison to the originals, for example National Park is still amazing on original chiptune and to be honest the DS version doesn't do it justice.

There is a GB player for that though. And some are fucking amazing like the legendary birds.

The RSE tracks are decent as well; they're the only ones that sound like correct usage of the tunes though that could only be because they're pretty much taken straight from GBA and improved.

And by walk a lot i mean I walk almost 3 miles a day to get to and back from class, and i run at least 3 miles when i go to the gym, and i was never able to get a surfing or flying pikachu

HG/SS are objectively the best games in the entire series. They are practically perfect and packed with extras, especially if you got the pokewalker.

The only complaint I have is that it isn't a simple remake like FR/LG. They liberally edited the plot and region, such as FORCING you to encounter Ho-oh/Lugia to progress, among other things.
