Anyone else want Gamefreak to step up the AI in future Pokemon games?
I feel like the smartest AI there has been to this point is the Pokemon Stadiun 2 AI. These guys actually switch when they expect a dangerous attack and sometimes it feels like they even predict your switches and just in general they seem a lot smarter.
Starting with Generation 3, the AI in games has been the bare minimum (as in, they go for super effective attacks but that's it). Switches and plays that generally surprise you are very rare.
I feel like an improved AI would not only make things more challenging, but it would make trainer battles feel more intense as well.
What do you think?
