What are you saying? That we should have ran through the game talking to every single npc, capture every pokemon in every route before we move to the next city/route, searched every nook and cranny of the game to get items, and constantly have the itemfinder out to find all the hidden items?

I did as a little kid. I owned a copy of Red, Blue, and Silver. I don't think I completed the Johto Pokedex, but I am nearly positive I caught everything from Kanto - other than Mew, of course.
