Gyarados should obviously be Water/Dragon.
Hey, now that I think of it, the only reason Game Freak didn't make it Water/Dragon is because then it would be ridiculously overpowered to the point of being broken, right? The sea serpent needed that 4x weakness to electric attacks to offset its overwhelming power.

The only problem I have with this is the fact that back in the day, Grass/Poison was the Mono-Grass. There's only 3 non Grass/Poison Grass-types in Gen 1 (The exeggutor line and Tanglea)

Some of you are just pulling this out of your asses, with "glalie looks scary so dark" or "serperior is reptilian, so dragon". But i'll give you the benefit of the doubt and assume that's not the case for every one of you, and who knows, maybe i overlooked something you didn't about a poke

They are an even smaller part of Blastoise so that won't change my mind.

But what it does it that it opens up for him to learn steel moves such as Flash Cannon but he can already use that so I think he is fine as is.

If they rewrote the dex entries you can definitely have an Electric/Dark Pokemon. Beyond its appearance, since Japan believes teamwork is evil they could've outlined how lions hunt in prides, and the male lions are actually incredible dicks who bully and fuck over other animals.

Rephrase their X-Ray vision as helping them see prey in the dark and to steal from other predators.

From a gameplay standpoint, it makes Bite and Crunch much stronger.
