>>13113902Hoenn had its moments. Like that abandoned ship. I personally really enjoyed that part, especially since (if I remember correctly) you didn't HAVE to do it.
>>13113886Slow battles? Now that you mention it they were kind of slow...but that isn't my problem with Sinnoh.
I hated how everything went through Mt. Coronet - I became incredibly bored with that very quickly.
I disliked the pokemon distribution, which I know they had fixed in Platinum but by the time that happened I already had my opinion of the region.
Fuck Fog.
Slow Surfing.
The Rival was an absolute spaz: I didn't care about him at all. When I was dealing with Blue or Silver, I felt as though I wanted to beat them, they were rivals. This guy, however, made me feel as though I were the bad guy in this dynamic.
Speaking of bad guys, Galactic was a terrible team in comparison to the others, especially since the actual plot surrounding them wasn't finally realized until Pt.
Sinnoh had potential to be great, and it still has some great moments - the gyms were great, and the E4 (minus Flint) was composed of solid teams.
Of the games I've played, Sinnoh sits with Unova1 as places I have no desire to visit again.
