let us discuss pokémon cries, /vp/

which is your favorite pokémon cry? which is your least favorite? which do you think sounds objectively bad because of, I don't know, sound quality or because it's inappropriate for the pokémon? which do you hate because it's fucking long and you keep stumbling upon it? do you think of pokémon saying their own names as cries as canon? in which case, are you a faggot?

for me, some of the best cries are Vileplume's and Parasects because I don't fucking know. I also like many other ones from gen IV and V because they really make the pokémon sound as if they are actual creatures/critters but without totally mimicking some real life animal verse, I think that takes at least a bit of inventive. can't think of any examples right now though.

lately I have traded a cherubi from one game version to another and I had never noticed its cry before that, it's pretty fucking kawaii and made me like the pokémon a bit more, I might think of making a sun team with it (not for competitive play I guess)

also, rhyhorn and charizard such similar cries drives me fucking mad, but john gamefreak is hardly going to fix such a thing so welp
