I was a nostalgiafag through and through until I caught this guy.

It's quirky (in mechanics and obtaining it), it has unique stats and strategy associated to it and looks very ethereal (at least in Gen III and following Gens' Shiny form). The halo gives it a nice final touch, as does the lore behind the hole on its back.

I also really like Articuno - it's a very smooth design, it's blue (my favourite colour) and I generally really like birds. Very beautiful.

Gen 1 - Alakazam/Mr. Mime
I was a huge Psychic babby. Alakazam was my favorite Pokemon in childhood since I had once trained a Kadabra to level 99 crying over why it never evolved before lending it to my friend and wondering why he got an Alakazam. Mr. Mime is just too sick.

Gen 2 - Houndoon

Gen 3
Milotic because of the challenge behind catching a legit Feebas or Absol due to design.

Gen 4
Garchomp = perfect Pokemon

Gen V
Scrafty's sprite, typing, and movepool were all great decisions. Krookodile would be top tier if it wasn't so commonly used.

Probably Mr. Mime for all time favorite though.

Some people don't consider him anything special because of his stats, but this motherfucker in his day would chase his prey to no end, knocking down trees as he plowed through them and not giving any fucks whatsoever.

His sweep is lacking, but if done right can be a big threat.

Hell, if any terrorist team in Pokemon were smart, they'd use this guy to knock down buildings and walls.

I sincerely wish one day they give him Rock Head, then he could truly sweep.

Muh nigga. My two favorite Pokemon are Forretress and Shedinja, biggest bros ever. I really enjoy using Shedinja is Sapphire because of the great risk / great reward nature of the Pokemon. For example, Wallace's Milotic and Steven's Metagross are both unable to harm Shedinja, so it's nice to kill them slowly with Toxic and/or Confuse Ray and watch them suffer helplessly.

I know that feel bro, used to have a level 60+ Beedrill in Blue. In Gen I Bug was the most common double weakness, which made Beedrill very useful since it was the only one to have access to the most powerful Bug-type move in the game, Twineedle. No matter what people say, Beedrill rapes in Gen I games.
