People never see this coming for some reason but
Roar Ninetales is essentially a poor man's Roar Heatran against Volc. It completely bodies it, even more so with Rocks up.Also I don't think the blobs can beat you if they run Toxic and you already have a dance. Might be a closer call if you have LO instead of Lum but hey, I always run Lum.
Jellicent actually can't do shit to you if you have the standard Giga Drain set in sun. The taunt set is your biggest issue here but you can still get boosts between drains if you have Fiery Dance.
And yeah I'd say the biggest weakness of my team is not having a physically defensive steel type but I manage somehow.
Scarf thundurus is an idea I've messed with on a sun team but in the end the rocks weakness hurt it too much. Honestly I don't think it works anywhere that isn't a rain team with Tentacruel.
The main problem with Volcarona is actually rocks and physical attacks. Virtually any modern physical scarfer can come in and hit its defense unresisted for a kill. And rocks make you dedicate part of your team to a Pokemon that would be better off doing something else.
I've used Volcarona before but I just don't think it has a place in this meta.
