Alright everyone. Let's take a five second break from complaining about the designs of the new Pokémon, and complain about the new design of the PSS.

It looks like a Fisher Price toy or something out of a poorly made iPhone app.

The battle screen from BW actually looks like something out of Pokémon, and feels natural. The new design feels so forced and thrown together.

I can't see why someone would complain about the PSS. Everyone asked to bring back the menu in the lower screen, like in HGSS, and that's what they done.

I guess I'll have to hold your hand on this one. While there are plenty of attractive and well-designed apps for the iPhone, there are also a notorious amount of apps that have a similar, generic feel to them.

Pokemon is a game intended to be enjoyed by everyone. When it was initially released, it was enjoyed by both little kids and teens alike. Now little kids, teens, and manchildren all play it. It's not mature, per se, but it isn't exactly designed with young children in mind.

And this relates how? The UI for the battle screen doesn't look like either, and you're just making a stretch in order to legitimize disliking it.

I wonder if they age the protagonists up because their demographic is slightly older.

I can't really see anyone under the age of 10 handling the 3DS, and the 3D effect isn't reccomended for younger kids
