So I downloaded an emulator for White Version and I started with Snivy. Only problem is after the first two fights in the house and caning 3 Patrats it isn't gaining any XP, is this intentional or is the emulator glitched?

Don't give me shit about downloading an emulator, i'm buying a 3DS XL in October but i'm too poor to afford it now.

Sounds like an anti-piracy measure. You should be able to find a patch or action replay code that fixes it if you google it.
