So you're still probably pretty lonely, but at least you know it's more of a widespread social thing, and not so much your fault like you might have thought. Also there are a lot of other people out there who are lonely, so meeting and getting close to people might not be as hard as you once thought.
I dunno if that really helps, but it sometimes makes me feel better.
