I fucking love Metagross and it was my competitive bro in gen 3 and 4, but it hasn't been the best Steel type competitively since gen 3 and even back then it had some pretty tough competition in Skarmory.

Purely for looks I'd say Steelix, purely competitively I'd have to go with Scizor or Ferrothorn.

As a perfect average of both I'd have to with Skarmory. Still extremely strong in the meta and it's a fucking bladed bird. Doesn't get much more badass than that.
