The reason I want Ruby and Sapphire remakes so I can rub it in the faces of people who hated gen 3 for non-sequitur reasons.

The reason I don't want Ruby and Sapphire remakes is because of the critical meltdown that would occur here if something else were announced in their place. Fuck, remake Kanto instead to really make it fucking sting.

Before I came to /vp/ gen 3 used to be my best game ever, had memories like the ones in your childhood, spent every second of my free time playing it. But now... It is "somewhere" in my bedroom under several layers of dust.

I didn't say it was bad, nor did I say FR/LG were bad. I'm sure a R/S/E remake would be great, but I'd rather them focus on new games than remaking old ones.
