What are your biggest regrets in pokemon games?

I throw a masterball at an Onix in Silver because I just couldn't catch it with normal balls.

It really didn't help that my asshole friends said that it's totally the strongest Pokémon and that Lugia and Ho-Oh are extremely easy to catch anyway.

I did nuzlockes for my Sapphire, Platinum, and HG. I lost them all very early in-game and gave up on them. I basically erased over 1000 hours of game time for nothing.

I bought my gf white and white 2. She last played White in january. She is halfway through White 1 and hasn't even touched white 2.

Realise I live in fucking Poland and that there aren't any games for DS or 3DS
Furthermore I realised that even if I get White or White 2, I'd only have few months to enjoy it before I'd move onto X or whY

I reset my HG gamefile with a fucking legit shiny kadabra on it. I mean its not really that much of a great shiny but it was the only shiny I've ever actually caught.
