Kalos is a misspelling of Carlos, the titan who's back Kalos is on.

After you defeat the elite four, Carlos coughs. Everyone is killed and all settlements are destroyed. This is the end of the game.

Timeline-wise, the game takes place during no one gives a fuck.

Aside from riding gogoats, you can also drive cars. Car accidents are possible, including running over people and pokemon. Your real life insurance rates go up every time you enter an ingame accident.

Team Flare is the Pokemon world's version of Triple-A. If your car breaks down, you can fire a flare into the air and wait for them to came along and help you out.
