I like everything about lilligant besides the single leaf-hair. When I realized its hair was just one big leaf hanging off the back of its head I was kinda put off by it. I dunno what I expected or how it could be done better, it's just weird to me. Her Crown is awesome though.

It's called "avoid grinding"

Wild pokemon are always underleveled compared to the area's trainers, so keeping them that way is hardly a problem.

When a pokemon catches up to what about the Gym Leader's pokemon will be, I move it to the back of my party to stop leveling it up until later.

Even with a Nuzlocke on top of that the game is still easy. This is how much artificial difficulty is needed for pokemon.
