Hi /vp/, I'm kind of a newfag (here for 1 year I guess?)

I just wanted someone to explain what is Showderp to me and how does it work.
The way it's explain on the thread itself is kind of silly and I can't get it.

Basically, showderp is where a bunch of anons give a "champion" a list of 6 random pokemon, and the champ uses this team to fight battles in OU on showdown. Results vary from champs with nearly OU teams getting compeltely wrecked, to getting sweeps with NUs. There are an aweful lot of unfunny faggots spamming unfunny injokes in every game so a lot of /vp/ considers them cancer.

They keep it in their threads, I really have no problem with them.
The cancer that is growing in /vp/ these days is the "your mom" guys and the "I'm a girl btw", and the latter I think it's just one guy shitposting all around.
