In XD, Hyper Mode was renamed Reverse Mode and Shadow Pokemon can no longer attack their trainers.

Doesn't this defeat the purpose of Shadow Pokemon existing in the first place? Shadow Pokemon are not stronger than regular Pokemon, they just have no empathy and thus will attack anything that gets in their way, even people. If they don't attack people anymore, why does Cipher still want to make them?
