ITT we talk about times we used action replay/gameshark/any other cheat device on any Pokemon game in the past.

Mine? I dressed my Soul Silver guy up as team rocket and went around capturing trainer's Pokemon.

I couldn't bring myself to finish Diamond it was that bad but I wanted to beat it before Black came out. So I gave all LVL 100 Pokemon and beat the game in a week.

I never touched Diamond again...

I often used a Gameshark when I was a kid to put Surf on my Pikachu in Yellow, since I could never get an N64. I also used/use an Action Replay to put Rare Candies and Master Balls on my RSE, FRLG, and DPP files. That's pretty much it; I don't think I ever fucked with encounter modifiers or that walk through walls shit or anything exciting like that.

Did it twice to catch Darkrai in pokemon pearl.
Used the 'walk through walls' cheat and simply walked to the island.

The event item code was like pages and pages long.

It was easier just to do the walk through walls cheat, walk there, catch it with a masterball and fly back to town.

I used AR all the time on my gen 3 games. Got lots of Pokemon I wouldn't normally have been able to get, and had a lot of fun wit hthe walk through walls cheat.

Fucked around with walk through wall cheats for fun and to get Shaymin and Darkrai on Diamond. I learned that walking onto the mudslide things from the side using walk through wall cheats causes your game to crash.

Also used a cheat to obtain 95 of all TMs on the same game because why the fuck not?

I hacked in Challenge Mode cause I really wanted to play Challenge Mode my first time through.

It was worth it. Hopefully in X and Y it's unlocked from the start.

Once I put on walk through walls before I got my starter in Diamond. Somehow, when I walked into the tall grass I encountered "??????????". Yes, the one from gen 3... Still confused about it to this day

I played around with the Walk Through Walls cheat in Diamond.

It's extremely funny if you use it while someone follows you and the game thinks that you should have double battles now.
As a result you will appear two times in the bottom screen instead of the other person.
One sends out your own Pokémon the other a weird MissingNo that has an endless name and no real attacks.

You can also make yourself invisible with it if you jump from a bridge and have the bike activated.

Was the only way to make Diamond not boring as hell to me.
