I do. HGSS did some things right, gotta love the little things like toggle run, the following Pokemon, and the ambient extras. The problem with HGSS though is that they did not fix a lot of the problems with the original games like the godawful level scaling. Being forced into fighting the cover legends thanks to the now-forced Kimono Girl stupidity is also pretty annoying.

I know gen II has many drawbacks, but still GSC and HGSS are my favourite game trhough all the series , especially the remakes.
All the new Pokémon and mechanics fit pretty damn well.

The AI's Pokemon only used the last 4 moves that a Pokemon learns for their moveset. Exeggutor only learned 3 moves in Gen I.

As far as I've seen, there haven't really been much in the way of gen wars in this thread. Mostly just people laughing at people who often refuse to acknowledge any of the shortcomings that the original game had, while simultaneously stating that everything after them is the worst thing imaginable. People can like the first Gen just fine, I'm sure quite a few people here in fact enjoyed them at one time. However, their is a difference between enjoying the first Generation, and thinking that only the first Generation was good.

The D\P nigger that make it need to know that most of "flaws" listed here are just the original mechanics of the game. Yeah theres some glitches but things like original critical mechanic is just that, a mechanic. Its like saying that Disable having 100% accuracy now is a flaw. Even in one point he talk about Blizzard accuracy like a bar thing. WTF seriously.
Also talking about sprites and things like that as flaws is retarded, its like arge about original Súper Mario not being in 3D.

Being an actual mechanic of the game doesn't make it any less flawed. Some things like the 1/256 chance of missing can be excuse because of limitations and being small details, but the rest is simply flawed.

Only ones that are actual problems/glitches. Only the sleep and wrap ones were problems that say any kind of actual use. No one uses Focus Energy even today. Dig and fly were extremely situational. I like Parasect's little head bang thing. And it looks like they just mirrored Pinsir. Also does anyone else like a couple of the Green sprites better? On average they're shittier, but like Pikachu, Goldeen, and Kingler I think look better with the old sprite.
