misdreavous was a really great alternative to gengar in GSC competitive play. One of its sets even got banned. mismagious couldn't save it in later gens tho, it will never be as good as in gen 2
(except for little cup, but nobody cares about that)

That's your opinion. I used Yanma once and never wanted to use it again until Yanmega came into existence. Same goes for Togekiss, Weavile and Roserade... although I didn't mind using Sneasel and Roselia in battle.

Oops. Well, I fucked up on that. I guess the one I should have said was Wobbuffet. Even though Encore was nerfed, it helped Wobbuffet a lot. The only way to appease the people complaining about Wynaut's existence would be if GF let Wobby have Encore as a default move.

Speaking of, anyone have that pic of the multiple Misdreavus spooking Dawn? It's a black background with her in the middle and in her Platinum outfit and there's like 6-8 pokes, one with just the eyes in the background

While I hate you for naming that 'Brobat', the reason I used Zubat in Silver was because of his new evolution. I love the guy. I haven't used him since though because there's still so many other Pokemon I haven't used before, I have to try them out.

I think Eevee and it's evolutions were already pretty popular in Gen I. At least, they were with my group of friends in elementary school. I will admit that Espeon blew the original three out of the water though.

Crobat is a massive bro, i used him pretty recently in White 2 and he wrecks but i took him out of the party recently (i've been using many pokemon and then phasing them out for others so i get a chance to use tons, all in all my party has had 12 different members)

Sorry, but your definition of saved differs from mine, by saved I understand by "any poke that was not used or almost not used started being used after an evo or prevo that appeared in a future generation"
