Listen Brendan, if there's anything I've ever learned when it comes to Pokemon, it's that you don't mix up canons, pisses fans off, especially the guys here. Now, you may be thinking about cannons, y'know from Civil War times, World War times, War of the Worlds times, and the obvious New York Times. But you're wrong Brendan, and you might be confused since you're just a kid so lemme go ahead and explain this best way I can.

First off Brendan, ditch any idea that there's only one manga, that's bogus. Those are just tumblr Special losers who are dedicated to letting everyone know that their manga is the best by bloating it around town like some loose prostitute, it's annoying Brendan, also Yellow doesn't exist, keep that in mind too.

There's more than one manga Brendan, it's just that no one cares to read the other ones because they're just not as popular, everyone just assumes Special is the only one because its story is so "deep" that people want it to replace the anime, which itself is ANOTHER canon. All in all that makes the game canon, anime canon, and the various manga canons.

But just HAVING different worlds isn't enough Brendan, there's different characters too, like for instance, there's Ruby from Special. He's basically you, except not as cool, at least I don't think he's cool. You're alright with me though Brendan, but you could stand to actually play poke-soccer once in a while-

Sorry Brendan, I just had to point out how terrible she is at the game. You should try liking girls that actually know how to play sports. Right, anyway uh, that's another thing Brendan, basically everyone you know in your life NOW, has a different counterpart in another canon, sometimes their personality is different, sometimes bland, and that's only if they're from the games- Don't even get me started on Leaf or Blue or Green or whatever those two are called.
