As for getting educated, I am currently pursuing my masters degree in Japanese Language at FSU in Tallahassee.
Not all fanfiction are terribly autistic lemons, in fact, some of them that are based in the Pokemon universe are quite good. I for one like the Poke wars series by Cornova, as well as the extended 'canon' of that series which is written by other authors such as NobodiesHiiro, Janus366, Kuroi-Uyoku, and JanTanner.
