If Pokemon aren't transferable between Gens 5 & 6, what are the odds that Game Freak will redistribute stats, change types, or remove things like Stealth Rock?

What kind of changes are you hoping for?

Well, when the same thing happened between Gen 2 and 3, taking into account their overhall of the IV system and everything

I think the odds are slim. But in a perfect world, they'd really fix the metagame. I don't even bother with it because if you don't use a team of six of a certain 20-30 Pokemon with very specific IVs and EVs and the exact same movesets, it's hopeless. And that just makes it boring.

i dont think they need to change the stats or types of any pokemon.

i think a more elegant solution would be to change the way types interact with each other, example: make ice resist dragon or make poison super effective against water.

you could also create some powerful moves exclusive to weaker pokemon.

I have a 50% winning percentage in OU with a eeveelution baton pass team, never checked smogon in my life. You just have to be original, it's a lot more fun that way

If they do that I want them to either stop making all Pokémon able to learn Toxic, and only the ones the ones that make sense learn it now, or make it be normal poison when used by non-poison types and only be TOXIC Poison when used by Poison types.

God I hope they do that, if only to prevent every old gen pokemon being RNG'd in the old version and then transfered into X&Y. There's no reason to seriously breed or trade with that stuff going on.
