That's kind of the point, there's not a huge difference in gender in most real life animals. I just want them to do the same for the gen V mons.

I don't get it either. I really liked the subtle differences and it certainly does look like GF's planning to get rid of them. That said, I bet they do not want to model subtle gender differences in 3D, so we'll probably never see them again...

Ummm Kirlia evolves into Gardevoir naturally, regardless of gender. If you use a Dawn Stone on a male Kirlia it turns into Gallade.

Yes!
I am kind of hoping we get an angler fish pokemon that is kind of like Vespiquen. The female form can evolve into a big, scary angler fish where the male would be a tiny little thing. Just like in real life.

They tried gender diversity in the 4th generation. It was so barely noticable it became redundant so they scrapped it in Gen V. There's still some remnants of it like Pikachu, Sneasel and Hippowdon.

Because they introduced fully animated sprites. Making gender differences for each would be well over 2000 sprites they'd have to animate. And that means drawing every frame

We might see more since they're using 3D models now and they're easier to alter

Of all the crazy fucking shit in the deep ocean, anglerfish are probably the most well-known. And Chinchou is a football fish in particular and Lanturn borrows from dolphins. They're also very different from the actual animal and their shtick is illumination. GF could very easily make a toothy monstrosity which has a shtick of bait, probably pure water or water dark, and no one would find it redundant.
