I'm leaning towards the reveal of dual typed attacks.. It's the only thing that would be "groundbreaking" and would actually change the game mechanics in a significant way.
Second guess is many pokemon are being retyped, not just fairies, but also things that should have been dragon, water, flying etc etc.
