So i'm probably going to get a 3DS in the next fortnight and i'm wondering if I should get Black 2 or not. I've not really played that much Pokemon, i've played through Yellow a few times, about 5 hours of Diamond and a bit of White (all on a handheld not ROMs).

Would I likely ever play Black 2 after I got X/Y? There wouldn't really be any nostalgic value because it'd only be my main game for 2 months or so.

Would it be worth it to get used to the game new game mechanics introduced since since Gen I (i've not played enough of newer games to be familiar with them) and maybe get some Pokemon to trade forward or would I be better off waiting for X/Y?
