>>13233992>It's people like you that stunt the growth of children. What a ridiculous decleration. You know nothing about me, haha
>you can't just say "oh it's a kid's show" and believe that excuses it for becoming or being shitreally..??
so, what makes it shit, exactly? Could it be the fact that you're over 18, and since being a child/when you were introduced to the pokemon anime, you've seen/read MUCH better and deeper material than what the anime has been dishing out these days? Your expectations for the depth of stories have naturally been raised exponentially since being a child is what I'm saying.
>If you want to compare it to other anime, how about we compare it to other anime that's for kids. In those you get a cohesive plot, with meaningful events, like One Piece or even Naruto if you're desperate. So what if you deem other children's anime as better? It's subjective, really. Sure, children's shows can have depth, some don't. Just means that the writers had a certain vision in mind that had more substance than an other anime's writer.
My point is, you shouldn't go into watching an anime like this with the same perspective as you would with The Dark Knight. It's just foolish and in my eyes, disturbing.
>You can compare the animation from the old episodes to the animation of the new ones and notice a drastic change, whether for the better or for worse is an opinionIt's called progression/change in technology. But I agree with you, and I wish most people felt this way
At the end of the day, I respect those people who don't care what others think of them and watch/play what they please. though I think a line is drawn when at age 20-something, you think it's a good idea to get into mlp/become a brony, because then, you are TRYING to be seen as a reject, which is a form of masochism in my book.
