I just finished Fire Red, getting ready to start Emerald, and it occured to me: having access to Gen 4 & 5 Pal Park/Poke Transfer already means that I can technically trade my previously used Pokemon over to each game as I start it.
I know they won't obey until I get all the badges, but it got me thinking that I might choose one of my Kanto Pokemon to have on my team throughout every region, just because that'd be neat.
I'm a bit torn between Raichu, Gengar, and Charizard if I do this. I'd like to hear your suggestions.
Also, if you were to do the same, which Kanto/Hoenn Pokemon would you bring to Sinnoh, Johto, Unova, and beyond?
