Here is how I feel about the starters.
>Chespin
Worst design of the grass starters, yes even worse than Chikorita, I liked Meganium and Bayleef, they were cool. Chespin just looks stupid, he's also the only non reptile grass pokemon. Sad, because I usually love every grass Pokemon. Gen 5/6 really dropped the ball.

>Fennekin
Looks adorable, not badass, but like a cute girl Pokemon, though that isn't bad. At least it's better than Torchic and Poohead Chimchar.

>Froakie
Looks pretty decent actually. Other than Squirtle and Totodile, it's the best looking basic starter. I'll give Piplup a slide because it evolves into Empoleon which is pretty cool.

tl;dr: I can't stand Chespin, Froakie and Fennekin are the best.
