To me, if you want to make a bunch of children who were turned into Pokemorphs enemies, you'd adversely need to show the mental and medical effects in heavy and correct detail rather than go 'OOH, THIS IS DARK BECAUSE OF THIS SUPER-EVIL CONCEPT'. That is storytelling. What this sounds like is 'EVULS FOR THE SAKE OF EVULS'. I can't exactly attack the gameplay since it'll be like every other Pokemon gameplay, but if you're trying to do this kind of shit, do it more subtly. Fine, the Templars kill people because they don't want anyone to touch the precious legendaries that anyone can beat with a strong enough team. Whatever. But Genome? You'd better have one good motherfucking reaon on transforming children into weapons and not make it look tryhard.
