But seriously, I was curious about him (I assume the masculine because of appearance, I know that it's genderless) in Diamond/Pearl, so I busted my ass trying to catch him in those games. I only succeeded in Pearl. When Platinum came out, I was skeptical at first, but after some sprite and stat changes from the Alpha to final American release, I wanted it BAD. I got it as a surprise because I thought it came out a month later. I instantly started playing and went for Griatina. I used my Master Ball, and used him immediately to battle pretty much every boss left in the game. I then transferred him to Gen V when the time came. Never once has he been knocked out. I've upped his stats and power trained the hell out of him, and he is my highest level Legit pokemon, at level 85. Usually, he knocks out any enemy under level 75 in one hit. 75-Same level takes 2-4 hits unless potions. I actually 5-shot a level 100 boss pokemon once in Gen V. It was a close call, but I did it. I have never been more proud of my Giratina, and once I get a 3DS and Gen VI, I will transfer him forward again.
