>>13248264Oh, that would be useful, then. I was confused because it felt like some people here were using them to set up pokemon evo chains. A long time ago, I did do some pokemon evo chains by the level up gimmick, but I also realized that would become really overused if the evolving mechanic was interpreted that way. Really, there are monsters that could be said to be the "evolved" form of other Yugioh monsters, but they have no effect or anything to relate them other than the similar appearance. I once proposed that the evolutions could coincide with the Tribute mechanic, but this would be unfair considering a poke that is the third stage of a line would be harder to summon than a poke at the end of a two stage line. Again, this kinda messes up with my "most pokes are equal" idea. Considering the above, perhaps evolving shouldn't be a mechanic that is emulated by this, but instead, one can just summon them normally.
