I've tried talking with a guy about setting up a battle, and he started spewing a bunch of terms and names out, saying how he worked so hard to get such-and-such stat on such-and-such pokemon, and then started asking what kind of team I had and what roles they all had or some shit.
When I told him I didn't really know what he was talking about, that I just played for fun, and listed off my team, he kind of gave me this look like "Oh...you're one of THOSE people", then said he'd try to battle me with some randoms from his box, which is always fucking unsatisfying.
