Why are potions, even ones that heal the pokemon entirely and eliminate any status problems, are so common, yet Ethers, Elixers, and other PP regenerating items, despite looking like they too were made in some sort of factory, as potions do, are only found via pickup, as items in certain areas, or as a rare reward?
