Articuno, Stunfisk and Gardevoir. These three made up a surprisingly tough defensive core for my NU team. Gardevoir and Articuno can shrug off just about any non-super effective special move (and can withstand most super effective ones too) and Stunfisk just laughs at almost any physical attack that isn't Earthquake.

How do you defeat minimize blissey if you miss the first hit? Are you planning on using aura sphere or something?
in gen iv just to be an asshole I used minimize/calm mind/ice beam/soft boiled blissey with leftovers and 252 defence and special attack. It was easy as fuck to set up to +6 if they miss the first hit after the minimize and I keep healing after every good hit

They've both got really neat designs and they work great at what they do. I especially like using a Drain Punch set with Gallade, it's difficult to dispose of as far as I've seen.

It's honestly just stupid to allow Double Team and Evasion tactics of the sort. It completely negates the whole purpose of a competitive system when a specific strategy can possibly be on any Pokemon.
