But the line between inanimate objects and monsters is hard to see.
Geodude/Graveler? A stone.
Grimer/Muk? A pile of slime.
Gastly? A gas cloud.
Onix? A snake, but it's also made of stone.
Koffing/Weezing? A mine.
Porygon? Some kind of computer program, but it's also based on a duck.
Xatu? A bird, but also a totem.
Unown? Hieroglyph.
Wobuffet? Punching bag.
Steelix? See Onix.
Porygon2? See Porygon.
Nosepass? A stone.
Gulpin? A stomach.
Swalot? I don't know, but probably like Grimer/Muk.
Spoink? It looks like a pig, but it's also a coil sprig.
Solrock and Lunatone? Stones.
Baltoy/Claydol? clay dolls/statues.
Formeo? I don't know. But let's say it's a monster.
Shuppet? Hand puppet.
Banette? Puppet.
Wynaut? I don't know, probably something like Wobuffet.
Regi-Trio? Golems/statues.
Beldum/Metang/Metagross? Magnets, metal, computers. Metagross kinda looks like a spider tho.
Lati@s? Jets.
Spiritomb? Don't know, a monster and an object (comet shard).
Porygon-Z? See Porygon.
Probopass? See Nosepass.
Roggenrola/Boldore/Gigalith? Stones/minerals.
Sigilyph? Totem.
Cofagrigus? Sarcophagus.
Trubbish/Gardobor? Rubbish/Garbage.
Vanillite/Vanillish/Vanilluxe? They are ice crystals, design-wise based on ice cream.
Cryogonal? Snowflake.
Golett/Golurk? Golems/statues.
Swirlix? cotton candy.
Honedge? Sword.
These plus the ones OP mentioned. Many of them are also based on other things (e.g. Onix and Steelix), or are ghosts and therefore haunted (Banette, Litwick). It's hard to say whether they are truly "inanimate objects", since everyone of them are living creatures.
